Chris grew up with coffee from filter coffee makers. There were endless cups on Sundays with friends and family. That was his preconception of coffee growing up.

On a family visit to Indonesia, he discovered specialty coffee and the different origins that all tasted so differently. 
Hooked on coffee, he co-founded Warawul Coffee, a coffee company in Berlin, Germany. The start up wants to shake up the ongoing practices in the coffee industry by redefining relationships between coffee drinkers, roasters, importers, and producers towards a more sustainable, equitable, and respectful industry.
